SUPERLUXE & Partners sign Artist Empirical Malum for exclusive Fine Art Collection

International fine art advisory SUPERLUXE & Partners has signed British artist Empirical Malum (aka David J. Brown) to its artist representation business, with an initial collection of ten exclusive artworks.

Empirical Malum is best known for his hyperrealistic and detailed images, has developed a unique Collection of ten artworks for SUPERLUXE, that include 1/1 Originals that will be made available by SUPERLUXE & Partners as Limited Edition Artworks in a Large format Edition of 100 Fine Art Prints and printed on SUPERLUXE’s exclusive Glass ‘Curtisium AROI’ glass as an Edition also of 100.

The Collection, called INURED will be offered by SUPERLUXE and will give early collectors and investors a unique opportunity to acquire one of the Originals and Limited Edition artworks before the price increases. All formats are marketed, sold and fulfilled through the SUPERLUXE.IO Fine Art Platform, as well as via in-person art events hosted by SUPERLUXE & Partners.

Speaking about the Art Partnership, artist Empirical Malum said “I am extremely happy to be working alongside SUPERLUXE with the INURED collection. For me, this collection imbues the strongest elements at a fantastic time of my artistic growth. Having sold artwork internationally through North America and Europe, I am extremely excited to now be able to offer my work globally through SUPERLUXE’s platform and in many varied formats. Bringing my passion to a new demographic and to buyers around the world is something that I couldn’t be happier with. This both excites and enthuses me greatly to continue creating. I am thankful for the opportunity.”

James A Matthewson, Founder & CEO at SUPERLUXE & Partners, also commented saying that “Dave (aka Empirical Malum) style is beautiful and sits within our artist portfolio perfectly. INURED is a visceral and arresting collection that explores the tenacious, unyielding strength of the human spirit having faced hardship and endured. Rendered in a bold, monochromatic palette with sweeping gestures, splattered textures and raw contrast; each image captures a moment suspended between suffering and resilience. Their faces, partially obscured, scarred by shadow and fragmentation, emerge from storms of emotion and experience. The collection seeks to celebrate not only the enduring human spirit but the blending of chaos and order; highlighting the extremities of both.

These faces are not passive subjects; they are survivors, warriors, and witnesses to their own stories. We are delighted that, through our client’s introduction, our paths have brought us together and this exclusive Collection of artworks for SUPERLUXE adds further depth to our offering.”
