SUPERLUXE appoints Gary Bellot as Non-ExecuLve Director

We are delighted to announce that, following a meeting of the Board on 18 November 2025, the Directors unanimously agreed to appoint Gary Bellot as a Non-Executive Director of the company. Gary has accepted the position, and we are extremely excited about the valuable experience and insight he will bring to the business. Gary is a highly experienced and commercially minded professional with over forty years in the financial services industry. His career includes senior roles at major banks as well as the successful establishment and management of his own businesses, with offices in Jersey,
Geneva, and Cyprus. He was recognised by the International Who’s Who for Business in 2015 and elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, reflecting his outstanding contribution to the sector.

On a personal level, Gary has supported and mentored me for several years. His guidance, availability, and willingness to give his time generously—without any expectation of financial reward—have been invaluable, he is extremely generous with his time and never complains and is there to help me when needed as well as many other individuals on the island.

Gary’s journey is also one of extraordinary resilience. In 2014, he suffered a major stroke while on business in London. Despite being given only days to live, he made a remarkable recovery against all odds. As he reflected to Bailiwick Express News Jersey: “If this episode has taught me anything, it is that life is so short.” https://www.bailiwickexpress.com/news/if-episode-has-taught-me-anything-it-life-so-short/ Inspired by these challenges, Gary has devoted considerable energy to charitable work. He served on the Board of the Stroke Association  and later became its Chairman, was a
founding director of Jersey Stroke Support Limited, and has recently been supporting a mental health charity “focused on mental illness”. Over many years, he has raised substantial funds for various causes and is known for generously sponsoring friends, colleagues, and family members in their fundraising efforts.

We believe that Gary’s deep industry knowledge, resilience, tenacity, and extensive network will significantly benefit the company as we move forward. He is widely respected across the financial services community by colleagues, clients, and peers—and he is, above all, a genuinely great person… even if he is a Spurs fan!
