Fortress Road – London
Explored virtually, assembled piece by piece—this collage reimagines London’s street art through Google Street View. A snapshot in time, and a tribute to the artists who bring its walls to life.
StreetView is a series that explores the world’s street art through the lens of Google Street View. Each digital collage is composed of 20–30 individual captures, layered together to create a single composition.
The process allows EyeEyeMouth to explore typography and street art from across the globe—sometimes discovering new cities, other times revisiting places he has walked through in the past. It’s a way of travelling virtually, yet still engaging deeply with the creativity that lives on walls and buildings everywhere.
Every piece is a snapshot in time. The murals, graffiti, and textures he captures may be painted over, weathered, or removed just days later, meaning the work preserves fleeting moments in the urban landscape.
At its heart, the series is a homage to the unknown artists who bring colour and life to the grey sprawl of our cities. Their work—often temporary, often anonymous—lives on through these digital collages, transformed into something new while still honouring its origins.
