The Other Side is a visceral plunge through chaos: a raw, abstract expression of what it feels like to be caught in the storm of life. The canvas is a battlefield of marks: layered textures, splashes, and frantic strokes in a variety of colours. Together they evoke noise, confusion, decision-fatigue, and the overwhelming pace of modern existence.
At the centre of this sensory overload falls a single woman in white. Her body, like reality itself, is fractured: glitched slightly off-register, as though displaced within a digital transmission. Limbs flicker, edges repeat, and she seems suspended not only in space, but between dimensions. The clean, straight lines built beneath the chaos hint at an order that once existed, or perhaps one that still lies beneath it all.
This piece is a meditation on everything that crowds the mind: the weight of thought, grief, responsibility, and noise. The fall represents the journey toward clarity. Toward the quiet. Toward the other side. Whether that’s spiritual, psychological, or metaphysical is left open. What matters is the momentum… and the hope that on the other side, the noise stops.
