Sue Trower

Sue Trower FRPS, is a Jersey born photographic artist, taking special
interest the local coastlines and their environment but also enjoying
travelling to explore pastures new.

Sue likes to look behind what the eye can see and inject her unique vision on to everyday scenes. This is mainly done with the use of in camera techniques such as Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and Multiple Exposures (ME). Years of experimenting and honing her craft with Lightroom and Photoshop has enabled Sue to enhance the images, so they fulfil her vision. The result is a selection of images with a different insight and sometimes quirky feel.

Sue’s latent fascination with photography was rekindled with the introduction of digital cameras, enabling her to process the images to fit her own vision. She feels that she was very fortunate to be involved from the early days of digital photography and processing and consequently has kept up with the software developments along with camera improvements. During this period of development, Sue followed the Royal Photographic Society’s distinction path, gaining her Licentiate in 2012, Associateship in 2013 a Fellowship in 2017 with a panel of 21 images titled Silver Lining.
